Huda Beauty Faux Filter Foundation Toasted Coconut 240N : Review, Price and Swatches
If you are here on the page to read this post, then I am sure you very well are aware of who and what exactly Huda Beauty is. Right? Huda Beauty products have made a hype everywhere on the social media as well as offline all over the world. Recently, I was in Dubai and went to Sephora for trying Huda Beauty products (Dream of every beauty addict) and you won’t believe how cluttered the specific stall that kept Huda Beauty product was. Every girl wanted to get their hands on the product and I was so taken off with the fact that “I could not leave Dubai without the Huda Beauty Faux Filter Foundation ” and hence here I am with the review of the same.
Huda Beauty Faux Filter Foundation retails for AED 195/- (INR 3510/-) for 35 ml of the content in it.
Huda Beauty Faux Filter Foundation comes in a matte black cardboard packaged box with all the details written on it as shown in the picture. On taking out the product, you will see a hard plastic bottle which has a pump attached on it to dispense exactly the right quantity of the product from the bottle. I sort of like the foundations with a pump on top as it prevents wastage and any sort of mess around the cap. It has a see through bottle with a black square cap on top.
Now the Huda Beauty Faux Filter Foundation has a very thick consistency. It is undoubtedly a full coverage foundation. Wearing it on a daily basis is only suggested for someone who can’t live without full coverage. Otherwise a person like me would use this only for some special occasion. I love the texture it has. It also has a slight floral fragrance that makes your face smell good and you feel fresh while applying the foundation. You only need a little bit of the product to blend all over your face with a thick brush or a beauty blender.
Huda Beauty Faux Filter Foundation blends like a dream. Now this is undoubtedly a thick foundation which might feel that its difficult to blend. But trust me it blends like a dream literally. I tried this at the counter with my fingers and honestly a little bit of this product which is less than half a pump was enough to cover half of my face. The shade Toasted Coconut immediately looked a little bit lighter on my skin but in a couple of minutes, it looks like a second skin.
Overall Experience on Huda Beauty Faux Filter Foundation
One thing that I experienced about this foundation was although its a full coverage foundation, it highlights some dry patches on my face very prominently. It does a great job in hiding up the open pores undoubtedly. But on certain areas where I had pimples, they were quite visible which I didn’t like. It is a complete matte foundation, which is a gift for oily skin. But for very very dry skin like me, it may highlight your dry patches clearly.
I somehow feel that this shade is a bit lighter for my skin because I automatically feel my complexion to go lighter after its application immediately. But if I leave it on for 5 minutes, it settles down completely giving a shade fairer to my actual complexion. Also one thing which is very important for you guys to know is, you necessarily need a compact after this otherwise the foundation will start forming creases in a while which I don’t like. This foundation is best shown when blended with a fluffy brush or a makeup sponge. You might not be satisfied on blending it with your fingers.
